Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. Programmes offered by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for the academic session 2024-25.
Eligibility:
- Candidates can apply under three categories:
- Category 1: Candidates with JRF qualification (UGC-CSIR NET, JRF, GATE etc.)
- Category 2: Candidates with PhD eligibility (without JRF)
- Category 3: Candidates with NET/JRF qualification (without PhD eligibility)

Selection Process:
- The selection process will be based on the following weightage:
- Category 1: 70% weightage for GATE score and 30% weightage for interview
- Category 2: 100% weightage for PhD eligibility
- Category 3: 70% weightage for NET/JRF score and 30% weightage for interview
Application Process:
- Applications can be submitted online only through the JNU website (jnues.jnu.ac.in) until December 2, 2024, 11:30 PM.
- Important Notes:
- Candidates can apply to a maximum of three areas of study.
- Separate applications are required for each qualifying exam (NET, JRF, GATE).
