Financial Assistance:
- Full-time regular program with institute sponsorship
- Part-time program without external institute fellowship
- Regular direct PhD (without PG, with UG degree only): For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology.
- Full-time scholar: For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a premier R&D institution and two years of work experience.
- Professional with extensive expertise (PEE): For scientists working in DRDO/ISRO/Public Sector Undertakings/other R&D organizations recognized by DST, Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Half-time Research Assistantship (HTRA): Regular full-time program with institute scholarship
- Non-HTRA: Candidates with M.E./M.Tech./M.Des. or M.S. in Engineering/Technology or a five-year integrated Master’s degree.
- GATE score/CSIR-UGC NET/NBHM/MDUE-JRF qualification is mandatory.
