The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi, invites applications for their Research Associateship (Educators/Researchers Pool) program. This program aims to utilize the expertise of young education experts/researchers who have completed their Ph.D. in subjects related to school education but have not yet secured regular employment.

Eligibility:

• Must have a Ph.D. in any subject related to school education.
• Age should not exceed 35 years.
• Relaxation in age limit is available for reserved category candidates.
• Candidates will be selected and placed in one of the NCERT units based on their expertise and the unit’s requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Research/teaching/professional work related to the assigned field.

Duration:

• The initial duration is one year, extendable to a maximum of two years.
• The associateship will be terminated upon securing regular employment.

Application:

• Applications can be submitted online through the NCERT website (ncert.nic.in) until December 26th.
• Along with the application, a brief research summary (not exceeding 1500 words) and a concept paper related to school education must be submitted.

Benefits:

• Monthly stipend of Rs. 58,000.
• Second-class AC fare for research-related travel.
• Accommodation during travel, as per rules.

• The selection process will be based on the candidate’s academic qualifications, research experience, and the concept paper submitted.
